I’ve been raising a thirst, workin’ all week,
a rabbid rabbit chewing off the soles of my feet
in the kitchen I stand the devil at my seat
Gotta get loose, gotta shake off the reek,
day 6 in a row,
the tide is low
fade in and out
I’m at the Palace its home with man’s best friend,
I send a message, feeling messy, and I’m ready to bend,
I shimmy along, from Memo to POME
If ya ready to roll, just find ya own way home,
We won’t go far,
swing by Cherry Bar,
oh yeah gimme one…
I hit repeat and turn out the lights,
Losing my way, from the north to the bay
A band full of blues wont hold off the light
Ill pick up the tab then I’ll whisper (kiss you) goodnight
Im with Jon Von Goes drinking Rumplestilskins
swing by ShanO’s for no damn reason
Freddies then Jazz Lab for tunes and a beer,
Where to next? just gimme ya ear
Live another reason not once I gotta plan ahead,
Ya needin’ leanin’, and my boots are full of L-lead,
I’ll self-sabotage tomorrows existence,
Won’t take much to shake my resistance...

Love this LP 'cause it's so raw & full of energy. Very powerful & gutsy work of art. Lucky for me to have met Brooke at Basement Discs, what if l hadn't been there l wouldn't have this work of art in my collection. nbs64

Great to see them live in Ballarat 4 December - what a set and also the new songs are great. I like Mint Condition and as always the story in a song. Having visited Macquarie Harbour since the last gig and read about Alexander Pearce escaping twice... perhaps the song needed to be 14 minutes! Jaycen Cruickshank
